Meeting Place:  at lobby of the hotel you stay.         Meeting Time: 9:00 a.m. (can be flexible).

Tour members:  1~5 persons.               Tour time: 6 hours (depends on the location of the hotel)

Tour charge:  JPY 3,000/ hour/ person.     ( Excluding: Transportation, Admission and meal payments.)

About Bonsai

Bonsai is one of the traditional cultural art in Japan, which literally means "plantings in trays."

Plants are intentionally managed to be small sizes showing artistic views. You can imagine a large tree with a big rock even though it is just a handy size. 

It takes quite a long time to achieve a good shaped Bonsai through the maintenance; watering, soiling, and trimming.

Not only observing but also breeding Bonsai is a fun, which is regarded as a sublime hobby.

Visiting Places:

Omiya Bonsai Art Museum: The gallery displays how to enjoy Bonsai. Various type of Bonsai trees are demonstrated in the garden.

Omiya Bonsai Village: Visit two Bonsai producing farms.

Happoen: Can enjoy hundred years of aged Bonsai in the Japanese garden.
